Art Masterpiece is an art enrichment program sponsored by the Fireside PTO and taught in your child’s classroom. Our many parent volunteers aid in developing a child’s imagination, helping them invent new connections among the five senses, and develop their creativity. Volunteers and students explore art together as they talk about wonderful artists, study their incredible art masterpieces, and then create their own amazing artwork!

In line with our Core Knowledge Curriculum, our students learn about different artists – their lives, art styles, and art movements. We explore beautiful art masterpieces and how they change the way we view the world. Students also create their own original art inspired by the artists and art masterpieces they study in order to better appreciate and understand art.
